Here’s a glimpse into what 2025 has in store…

Walk the Wall is back!

Our Walk The Wall challenge is back for a fourth year, so you can start 2025 off on the right foot!

Join us this January in virtually walking the length of the Hadrian’s Wall Path in aid of our life-saving service, and keep our helicopters flying in the New Year.

84 miles in one month – anywhere, any time. Every step you take and every mile you walk helps us continue to save lives.

Entry is £10 and you will receive a limited edition Walk The Wall patch for completing the challenge. Sign up here.

While you enjoy your treats, you’ll be dazzled by a makeup masterclass by professional skincare specialist and makeup artist, Victoria Louise!

Cleveland 4 Peaks – After Dark

Ready to go exploring in the dark?

This unique,13.1-mile guided walk under the moonlight promises to be an adventure like no other. As the sun sets, you will explore our region under the stunning night sky, tackling four of the highest peaks in Teesside: Roseberry Topping, Captain Cook’s Monument, Codhill Heights, and Highcliffe Nab.

These walks will be taking place on Friday 7 March, Friday 14 March, Friday 21 March and Friday 28 March.

The sign-up fee is £25 and you will receive a fundraising pack which will include everything you need to know about this challenge.

We’re asking you to raise £100 in sponsorship. This sponsorship will help us continue our mission to provide pre-hospital care to the region you will be crossing. Sign up here.

Bike and Classic Car Nights

Our Bike and Classic Car nights will be back in April.

Help us save lives by turning up for our monthly motorcycle and car meet-up at our headquarters in Eaglescliffe.

These meet-ups take place from 5.30pm on the third Thursday of every month.

There will be refreshments and merch available to purchase too.

A Mile 4 Miles

Calling all teachers, and students! We want your school to walk a Mile 4 Miles.

To celebrate Miles’ birthday week, 12 to 16 May, we’re inviting children from schools everywhere to get active and support their local air ambulance charity.

It’s simple – donate a quid or two, walk, dance or run your mile, and compete with other classrooms to see who can raise the most funds.

Please note you can take on this challenge anytime that suits your school. Sign up here.

Great North Run

Whether it’s your first time on the start line or you’re a hardcore harrier, we would love to have you on Team GNAAS at the Great North Run.

Taking place on 7 September, follow the 13.1-mile route from city to coast, crossing the iconic Tyne Bridge alongside athletes, celebrities and 57,000 fellow runners.

After crossing the finish line, you can relax at our charity marquee with friends, family and your GNAAS teammates.

Charity Places are available for £65 and we ask you to pledge £300 in sponsorship. Buy your place here.

Charity balls, golf days and more

We have a whole host of events planned for the rest of the year including the return of our golf days and charity balls in the North East and Cumbria. There’s also plans for another Helifest, Whirlybird Walkies, Great North Explore walking challenges, and much much more.
